Ed joined Continental in 2012 as its Chief Financial Officer. A member of Continental’s Investment Committee, he also leads the Accounting, Finance, and Investor Relations. In 2019, Ed launched the company’s entry into the fund business which has grown to over $1.5B in its first five years. Prior to joining Continental, Ed was with Bank of Montreal for 13 years where he syndicated debt for homebuilders before joining Kimball Hill Homes, a regional homebuilder ranked in NAHB Top 20, where he led the firm’s initial public debt offering in his capacity as CFO. Ed earned his B.A. at the University of Illinois at Chicago, his M.B.A. from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business, and he graduated from Harvard University Graduate School of Design’s Advanced Management Development Program in 2023. He is passionate about affordable housing in the United States and served on the Board of Trustees of Mercy Housing from 2014-2020.
