ALAMEDA HEALTH SYSTEM FOUNDATION (AHS Foundation) supports the critical daily operations and innovative programs of Alameda Health System (AHS), Alameda County’s patient and family-centered safety net health care system. Together, we are increasing access to quality care, addressing unmet social needs, and building a community-centered workforce. AHS serves over 127,000 patients a year, and more and more people urgently need our services every day. AHS comprises of 15 hospitals and wellness centers and our Mobile Health Clinic and Dental Sprinter Van. It also includes the East Bay’s only Level 1 Trauma Center at the Wilma Chan Highland Hospital Campus (WCHHC). AHS Foundation serves as the nonprofit fundraising arm for AHS.
