Head of High Income and Alternatives, Fidelity Investments
HARLEY LANK is head of the Fidelity Investments High Income and Alternatives division, where he has strategic oversight of portfolio management, research, trading, investment services, and special situations teams that support the current high income, leveraged loan, emerging market debt, real estate debt businesses, and credit-oriented products in the alternatives space. Fidelity Investments is a leading provider of investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing, and other financial products and services to institutions, financial intermediaries, and individuals.
Mr. Lank is also the portfolio manager of the Fidelity Distressed Opportunities Fund I, LP and various portfolios for U.S. and non-U.S. investors.
Previously, Mr. Lank managed various Fidelity funds, including Fidelity Advisor High Income Advantage Fund, Fidelity Advisor Leveraged Company Stock Fund, Fidelity Floating Rate Central Investment Portfolio, the U.S. high-yield subportfolios of Fidelity Puritan® Fund and Fidelity Advisor Balanced Fund, the preferred stock portion of Fidelity Advisor Strategic Dividend & Income Fund, and Fidelity CLOs. Additionally, he co-managed Fidelity Advisor World U.S. High Income Fund and the U.S. high-yield sub-portfolios of Fidelity and Fidelity Advisor Global High Income Funds. He also worked as a research analyst.
Before joining Fidelity in 1996, Mr. Lank was a corporate finance analyst at Bank of Boston. He has been in the financial industry since 1992.
Mr. Lank earned his bachelor of science degree in business from Syracuse University and his master of business administration degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
