JUSTIN W. SMITH is Founder of Balanced Strategies, LLC, a firm that provides specialized insurance and planning services to advisors of high net and ultra- high net worth families. He is also a partner at Cavalier Associates, a national life insurance brokerage general agency and he heads AdvantagePoint, Advantage Insurance Network’s specialty consulting unit. In his insurance businesses, he works with and consults advisors and clients on advanced estate, business, tax and succession planning strategies that maximize efficiencies in wealth preservation and transfer.
Justin is a graduate of the University of Oregon where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. He and his wife, Stephanie and their two children live in Rancho Santa Fe, CA where they are active in the RSF Education Foundation, Immunotherapy Foundation, University of Oregon College of Arts and Sciences Foundation.
