Dr. Jamie Weiner refers to himself as a Wealth Whisperer™. Jamie works with high-net-worth families on all the problems that exist behind the money. Co-founder of Inheriting Wisdom with his wife, Dr. Carolyn Friend, he excels in activating families to become high performance families. He is the author of the book, The Quest for Legitimacy: How Children of Prominent Families Find Their Unique Place in the World, to be released June 2022. Previously, Jamie co-authored with his wife, The Legacy Conversation: the missing gem in wealth planning.

Since 2018, Jamie has devoted his time to an in-depth qualitative research study of the Rising Gen in storied families. The purpose of the study is to understand what it is like growing up in the shadows of successful parents and elders. While many of the 44 interviews in the study came from families of wealth and substantial business enterprises, the study recognizes that those raised in families of prominence share many of the same characteristics.

Dr. Weiner is a Fellow of the Family Firm Institute (FFI). He has served on the FFI global board and for close to a decade chaired the editorial board of the FFI Practitioner, an online publication providing comprehensive news, analysis, trends, and research intelligence affecting the family enterprise provider community. He has presented globally to both professional and family-office groups.
