Anand Radhakrishnan

Managing Director, Head of North American Technology Partnerships

Anand has been with Investcorp for over 18 years and is based in New York.  From 2002-2013, Anand was a partner in the Investcorp Technology Partners direct investment team managing over $1B in technology investments in North America and Europe.  In addition, Anand served as the interim Chief Information Officer for the Investcorp Group from 2013-2014 and has been a member of the North American PE (NAPE) team since 2014, most recently as COO and leading NAPE’s co-investment efforts with Western institutions.

Previously, he was with The Carlyle Group, as a member of Carlyle Venture Partners in Washington DC and started his career at Robertson Stephens in San Francisco advising on Technology Mergers & Acquisitions.

Anand holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.  He was a member of the MIT Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and has published original research in the field of Natural Language Processing.  He was also member of the MIT Distributed Computing and Networking Services team where he worked on one of the first 100 web sites in the world.  In addition, he holds an MBA with Distinction from the Harvard Business School.

He is Chairman of the Advisory Board of the University of California, Berkeley, Center for Effective Global Action, a research center dedicated to promoting technology innovation and data-analytics in anti-poverty programs globally.
